WHAT DO WE DO
-
Cover topics such as menstrual hygiene, periods, and the use of sanitary napkins, aiming to dispel taboos and promote open discussion.
-
Provide information on alternative menstrual products like self-made cotton pads, ensuring accessibility and empowerment.
-
Encourage gender-neutral discussions to create an inclusive space for all participants, regardless of gender identity.
-
Empower participants with knowledge and skills to manage menstruation confidently and hygienically, breaking down barriers and fostering acceptance.
WHY WE DISCUSS ABOUT MENSTRUAL HEALTH
Educating children ranging from 12 years to 18 years, and underprivileged women, about menstrual health is essential for their well-being and empowerment. By discussing the hygienic, physical, and emotional aspects of this stigma-riddled natural phenomenon, we help them navigate this natural process with confidence and dignity. Furthermore, teaching children about menstrual health promotes inclusivity, breaks down stigmas surrounding menstruation, and fosters empathy and understanding among peers. By discussing available menstrual care products such as menstrual pads along with distribution of menstrual pads, we increase accessibility and further reduce stigma.
