Samwaad (संवाद): An introduction to understanding everything LGBTQ+

Queer Education Initiative (QEI) Foundation conducted Samwaad, a two-hour gender sensitization program, at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. Attended by around 200 students, including NCC cadets, the session explored topics of gender, sex, and sexuality while debunking common myths. An engaging icebreaker activity, modeled after a “gender reveal party,” set the tone for interactive discussions supported by videos and open dialogue.
The program encouraged participants to challenge societal stereotypes and embrace inclusivity, fostering awareness and allyship among the attendees.
